Get to know the founder and president of Iceberg Back Office Management, Eben Mai
Thanks for stopping by! My name is Eben Mai, and I am the President of Iceberg Back Office Management (B.O.M).
Prior to starting Iceberg B.O.M, I spent over 18 years in investment operations, working for various banks and wealth management firms. I started out as an Account Reconciliation Representative, then moved into trade settlements, then I became a trader, a manager, and eventually a Vice President of Investment Operations. I had a successful corporate career but I wanted to venture out and start my own business.
Bookkeeping was the natural fit. I’m good with numbers, and I like solving puzzles. Nothing is more satisfying than reconciling an account to the penny. But it’s not just the reconciliation. It’s all aspects of bookkeeping and helping small to medium-sized business owners develop sound accounting practices to help them grow their business.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two daughters. I am an avid sportsfan and enjoy tennis, and outdoor running. I am a graduate of the University of Colorado – Boulder and have my B.S. in Finance.
